Ten CRPF companies have been rushed to the district, taking the total to 53 companies out of which four are Rapid Action Force (RAF), a CRPF official said.
Police had arrested 35 people and reimposed day curfew in sensitive areas of the district in the wake of fresh violence there.

The Centre earlier today said that it was not satisfied with the response of the Orissa government to the notices issued over the continuous attacks on Christians in the state and said "much more needs to do done" to prevent further attacks on the minorities.
"We are not yet satisfied with the response of the state government. Much more needs to be done to quell the communal tensions," newly appointed Director General of BSF M L Kumawat who still holds the post of Special Secretary (Internal Security) told reporters.
