There has been another report of a church being attacked on Friday. It's the seventh such incident in Tamil Nadu.
Unidentified persons threw stones at a glass case enclosing a Bible at a church in central Chennai.
Earlier incidents were reported in places like Kanniyakumari, Coimbatore, and Madurai. State police are providing extra security to churches in Chennai.
